Revised October 28, 2026

Canada's casino hotels, reviewed — plus our 2026 top 10

We don't rate a casino hotel on its slot count alone. The stay is judged as a whole — the bed, the floor, the dinner, the stage, the pool and the journey in — and every number we quote is traced to the property's own site or a source we name, with a check date on each review.

Quick answers before you book

Which Canadian casino hotel scores highest with you?

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa — doors opened July 3, 2025, with 150 rooms. Just before that came the hotel at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, on August 1, 2023.

At what age can you enter a Canadian casino?

It's set province by province. Alberta, Manitoba and Québec say 18; Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and most others say 19.
