River Cree Resort & Casino
Just west of Edmonton on Enoch Cree Nation land, River Cree combines a 249-room hotel, one of the largest casinos in Alberta, Canada's first Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen, a pair of NHL-size rinks and a free shuttle to West Edmonton Mall. A new 18-storey tower is under construction.
Grey Eagle Resort & Casino
Grey Eagle is owned and operated by the Tsuut'ina Nation on Calgary's south-west edge, and its 178-room hotel opened in 2014. Some rooms look west toward the Rockies, the 2,500-seat Event Centre books big acts and Little Chief ranks among the West's better casino restaurants. The pool, though, is shut during a renovation that runs into 2027.
